Nothing better than good news. The nine-year-old Boris Delić from The Hague also thinks so. He is one of the fifteen nominees in the Jeugdjournaal competition and has a chance to make an item as a reporter with the team of the real Jeugdjournaal.

Boris has been chosen as one of the fifteen finalists from over 300 registrations.

Children could participate by showing their journalistic talent through a submitted video. In it they report on a topic from their environment. Boris went to the football field as a reporter where something unique was going on.

Watch Boris’ submission below and read on below the video.

Sunday 21 November is the final day and Boris has to pull out all the stops during three assignments. These are judged by the expert jury and consists of Fedde, the winner of 375, singer Stefania and Youth News presenter Joris Marseille. The (3) winners may travel with a Youth News camera crew to report on a subject of their choice. The reports will soon be shown in a TV broadcast, on the website and on the YouTube channel of the NOS Youth news.
