The intersection between the Meppelweg and Dedemsvaartweg will get a new layer of asphalt. This is because the current asphalt is no longer safe enough. The work begins on 20 September and will last until 24 September 2021.

The Meppelweg-Dedemsvaartweg intersection will be closed off. The right-hand lane from the Houtwijklaan-Dedemsvaartweg in the direction of Meppelweg will remain open. The contractor will work from Monday to Friday between 7.00 and 22.00 hrs. Work will also be carried out between 22.00 and 7.00 hrs. during 1 or 2 nights. The work will be noisy. The municipality will try to limit the amount of nuisance as much as possible.
